The Annihilator served as the flagship of Grand General Cassio Tagge in the aftermath of the Battle of Yavin. It was later captured by the pirate Eleodie Maracavanya, who renamed the vessel Liberty's Misrule. It is first seen in the second issue of the Marvel comic book series Star Wars: Darth Vader.
