Rule[]

Espionage is a category of Commander Abilities used when playing a Rebellion in the Rim – Campaign to define a custom commander. Players can purchase abilities for commanders by spending an amount of experience points (XP).

Some abilities are Ranked with a roman numeral (I; II; III) in their name. Those are linked to abilities with the same name.

  • A commander must have the lower-tier version of a ranked ability to purchase the next rank of that ability.

* When a player purchases the next tier of a ranked ability, the higher-tier version replaces the lower-tier version.

Tier 1[]

Infiltrator I[]

After deploying fleets, if your flagship's size class is small, you may pick your flagship up and redeploy it within your deployment zone.

Cost: 2 XP

Ranked ability. Next tier is Infiltrator II.

Concealment I[]

While you are defending at distance 1 of an obstacle, during the Spend Defense Tokens step, you may discard a defense token to cancel 1 die.

Cost: 2 XP

Ranked ability. Next tier is Concealment II.

Tier 2[]

Infiltrator II[]

After deploying fleets, you may pick 1 friendly ship up with a size class of medium or small and redeploy it within your deployment zone.

Cost: 3 XP

Ranked ability. Lower tier is Infiltrator I. Next tier is Infiltrator III.

Concealment II[]

While a friendly ship is defending at distance 1 of an obstacle, during the Spend Defense Tokens step, it may discard a defense token to cancel 1 die.

Cost: 3 XP

Ranked ability. Lower tier is Concealment I. Next tier is Concealment III.

Tier 3[]

Infiltrator III[]

After deploying fleets, your may pick 1 friendly, non-huge ship up and redeploy it within your deployment zone. At the first round, up to 2 friendly ships may perform a speed-1 maneuver.

Cost: 4 XP

Ranked ability. Lower tier is Infiltrator II.

Concealment III[]

While a friendly ship is defending at distance 1 of an obstacle, during the Spend Defense Tokens step, it may discard up to 2 defense tokens. For each token it discards, cancel 1 die.

Cost: 3 XP

Ranked ability. Lower tier is Concealment II.
