After you deploy, gain 1 
defense token.
While attacking a squadron, if the defender is engaged with a friendly squadron without the printed Heavy keyword, you may reroll 1 die.

The additional defense token is gained after deploying the ship. The effect of this Upgrade Card triggers during the Attack step 3: Resolve Attack Effects
Appearance[]
The Unity was a Starhawk-class Battleship Mark I that served in the New Republic Defense Fleet during the Galactic Civil War in 5 ABY. It took part in the Battle of Jakku. It first appeared in Chuck Wendig's 2017 novel Aftermath: Empire's End.
