Rule[]
A ship consists of a ship base, a ship model, a ship token, and a ship card. All components must match the ship’s type, and the name on the ship card must match the name on the ship token.
The ship card holds the information about the Defense Tokens, Tactical Values, Maneuverability, possible Upgrades and Fleet Point Cost for the matching ship.

Star Wars: Armada ship cards were printed at different sizes prior to the introduction of the Galactic Republic and Separatist Alliance factions (tarot-size for ship cards; mini- size for upgrade cards). For all factions, future cards of these types are being printed in a standard-sized card format to match other card types in the game.
Regardless of their size, previously printed ship cards remain legal game components.
