Compared to the Venator II-class Star Destroyer for 100 pts. the I-class variant has a Squadron value of 3 instead of 5. It is armed with 3 red and 3 black dice instead of 2 red, 2 blue, and 2 black at the front, with 1 red, 1 blue and 2 black dice instead of 2 red and 2 blue at on the sides. It has 2 blue anti-squadron dice compared to blue and black for the more expensive variant. It has a slot for a Fleet Command upgrade instead of a Defensive Retrofit.

The Venator-class Star Destroyer, also known as Republic attack cruiser or Jedi Cruiser, was the backbone of the Republic Navy, being able to fulfill multiple roles in warfare. It was first seen on screen at the battle over Coruscant in the opening of Episode III and later had lots of screen time in the animated TV-show The Clone Wars.
